    Dog Boots

Does anyone have any recommendations for a good dog boot? We will be at the beach Labor Day week and Sam always has issues with his paws getting torn up by the sand. I've tried musher's secret and it doesn't help much so I thought I might try putting boots on his paws.

    Georgia,
Being that dogs "cool" largely via panting and through their feet, I would be hesitant to have my dogs feet covered on a hot beach with dog boots at this time of year. JMHO / Food for thought.

Thanks for the heads up. I didn't even think of that. I wish I could figure out how to protect his feet. After about 3 days of running on the beach, he can barely walk.

Talk to your Vet. I think there is a product called "TOUGH PAD" or TUFF PAD that has a Tincture of Benzoin base that is breathable, but toughens the pads. Good luck.
