I did a search in general health, found a thread although they didn't give dosage JenC and POPTOP both used the milkthistle for their babies. Hopefully one of them will see this, sorry I can't help you with the dosage.
Molly's Denamarin is getting expensive--about $55 for 30 pills, which is a 10 day supply. Soooo, about $150 a month.....Since it is Sam-E & milkthistle, does anybody have experience buying the supplements separately from a drugstore? If so, what would be the correct doseage? Molly weighs about 82 lbs.....She is taking this for liver support. We'll definitely continue to get it for Molly, but just wondering if there is a less expensive alternative. Thanks.

I think I gave one milk thistle pill a meal. And I also bought the human Sam-E and gave one pill a meal.

Yes, we did give Hepagen C (milk thistle) one pill a day. Also, organic salmon oil. Neither are a "curative" medication but help support liver function. The combination worked for Potion who had a liver reaction to Rimadyl. It did take about 3 months.
