    Ferris is here!

What a day -- I am exhausted, LOL! Ferris and his siblings (Fia, Frankie, Fletcher and Foxy) went home today at 8 weeks old. I asked -- they don't give out the name of the dam and sire because they don't want anyone (including their own trainers) to have preconceived notions of the litter.

They told me that Ferris is the "least attentive" of the litter, LOL. So sweet but dim?? We have been bringing him outside about every 30 minutes, yet he's still peed only in the house -- three times. Oy. When he's outside all he wants to do is eat leaves! Hopefully tomorrow will be a better day. I'm going to put a podcast on, my headphones, and just park myself out there with him until I can get him to go!

Oh, another interesting tidbit -- watching the puppy cam, I was trying to figure out how they tell the puppies apart. Each one has a shaved patch. Ferris's is just above the tail (but hardly noticeable now).

I've started an Instagram account that's just for Ferris, so PM me if you want it. Please send me some sleeping-through-the-night vibes! -img_7268-1-jpg-img_7296-1-jpg-img_7317-1-jpg

(And yes, he chose to sleep on the wet food met and a towel I threw on the floor to mop up the water that he sloshed out of the bowl!

    Welcome home, Ferris.

Least attentive, huh? I'll bet he's pondering all the mischief he can get into...too focused on that to pay attention to anything else.

We had exactly the opposite result with pee, today anyway . Latte's peed 3 times out side and only once inside. She and Mocha had a great game of bitey face going on and she just squatted. Crafther picked her up and ran her outside. I cleaned up the accident.
We are planning our sleep schedule now. Crafther is the night owl and I am the early riser. Should work out. We hope!

It's funny to me to see Ferris as a puppy name, because it makes me think of my oldest human child...who is named Ferris.

Congrats on the new arrival. This past June I was exactly in your shoes, the sleepless nights had me wondering if I made the right decision. Good news! As their bodies grow, so do their bladders! I'll tell you right now, enjoy them little because it doesn't last long at all. They stay cute forever though, that's the beauty of puppies!
