Aye Mates,
T'is been a while since me last posting of the August installation of a monthly photograph of our beloved old farm dump body truck. I confess that a nudge by Labrador Chat's very own PopTop (FRAN) motivated me into posting up this photo taken at the very beginning of September. Not the most dramatic changes seen as of yet, me conjecture will be that the photo installation in October will show significant changes in the autumn flora both on and adjacent to the truck.
I did take time to speak with the present owner of the farm and truck and ascertained that it is a 1953 Mack, which at 63 makes it two years older than meself. The owner did tell me that other artists have inquired about it, meself being the only one to produce any work out of it so far as he is aware of.
September installation of "WRECKLAMATION" shows some contrasting hues from that of the previous month. I suspect there will be a much more dramatic shift in color betwixt the truck and the surrounding flora in the October installation.
More milkweed, mullenweed and goldenrod
Glad to hear any commentary or thoughts this photo might evoke, be they positive or negative in nature.
Cheers Mates,
Irishwhistler

Great picture.
The goldenrod adds just the right touch...love that plant.
Love this series of photos. It reminds me of our farm in Kentucky. There was an old 48 Buick that used to sit by the creek and had a similar look. Golden rods, cucklberries, Queen Ann's lace, wild Tiger Lillie's and Touch-Me-Not's growing around and through it. A few years back someone came by and took it off to be recycled. Memories

Thank you Irishwhistler!
Yes, slight change with more growth around. I suspect the onset of cold weather, the colors of the plants will really change giving it an entirely new look.
