    Cake for you Lab

Anyone have a recipe for dog birthday cake?
Last year I bought a box cake from amazon but wasn't impressed, and neither was Rocco.

I just stack some of Thor's favorite treats and 'frost' them with natural peanut butter.

I just made this cake for my girl's birthday. I have two dogs, so I baked it in two jumbo muffin cups (like these) and frosted them with yogurt and blueberries. They were a big hit!

    Ingredients

    • 1 apple
    • 4 Tablespoons peanut butter
    • 1/4 cup rice flour (or flour of choice)
    • 1/2 tsp baking powder
    • 1/4 cup water

    Instructions

    • Preheat oven to 375F.
    • Shred the apples into tiny pieces and mix with peanut butter, flour, and baking powder. Then add water and mix.
    • Pour batter into a lightly greased mini-loaf pan or muffin tins. Bake for 20 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean. (I think it took closer to 25 minutes for mine)

I will see if I can find a recipe - but I normally make cupcakes VS one big cake.

Our birthday cake for Lucy was always a hamburger!
