Ladies mushroom picking in the bush lost their dog. I didn't find her, neither did they. I got permission to put a Lost notice on our community FB page with the owner's name and phone number. About 2 hours after I first met them the owner called me, her dog was home. Molly ran south, was found by another lady who kept her and alerted our township animal control using the information on Molly's collar. Our animal control man called the owner's township animal control who just happened to be close and heading home so he picked up Molly and delivered her home not long after the owner herself got home. What a neat story, Molly was only missing about 2 hours, was safe for most of that time and even got a ride home. Lucky, eh?
