I don't think so.
Been dragging butt lately, really in a rut, having too many pity parties. The latest, interstitial cystitis has flared up so in treatment for that. What the heck else can fall apart!
Big craft show today and I pushed myself to go not because I physically can't but because I've just been poopy. Met a lady who was selling honey, some in flavors. She had a collection of little sampler pots and thought they would be good for holiday gifts. Had my Labrador jacket on and we got to talking. Her yellow lab, Clicker (love the name) passed not long ago, a little before Mardi. She was telling me the honey was so healthy and we got on the jag of health issues. Dang if she has had pancreas surgery and has suffered from pancreatitis. First person I've met face-to-face with this problem and she is doing fantastic. She was so uplifting and positive I could not help but feel better.
Yes, there is light on the horizon, I just have to keep working in that direction.

Something chronic can drag you down fast. All you can do is the best that you can do...and realize that there will be "good times" again. It's good that someone had uplifting words for you that you can relate to...lab board mojo can do only so much.

I'm sure that's why they have support groups for various conditions, so a person doesn't feel so alone in their journey. Leave it to you to find your own support group in an unexpected place! I'm glad it gave you a boost.
I like the name Clicker also. Of course, I'll never remember it when the next pup comes my way, but I do love those different names. One of our trainers had a golden named Caper, kind of along the same lines.

I think this means you need to attend lots of craft shows too. What a nice encounter, some people you just hit it off with right away.

Isn't it awesome Barry is such a wise man. I really like they way his mind works. Hope you got some of her wonderful honey as local honey is a good cure for many afflictions. Glad you met someone you could talk girl to girl with about the same problems. Maybe she can give you some advice on what to expect in the future.

So glad she made you feel better. I love the fairs around here. There's something about seeing what others can accomplish that is happy making.
