How Often Are You Stuck in One SPot?

How often and for how long are you stuck in one spot because one of your critters has part or all of his/her body on part or all of your body and you just can't bear to make them move? I got an extra half hour in bed this morning as Oban and Joey both plastered themselves next to me and I couldn't bring myself to make them move. Thanks boys.

    Oh, yeah.

It used to happen more, though, when we had cats.

Or how about when there's a dog where you were planning to sit...and you let the dog stay there and find another seat for yourself?

Mine don't get to sleep in bed with us and I'm the meany who enforces that. One creature snoring in my bed is almost more than I can stand so the pups need to sleep elsewhere. I sometimes spend more time on my computer or watching TV than I should because Lark goes to sleep across my feet. Even if she's not actually lying on me she's right beside me. If I get up, she gets up.

Dinner was a bit overcooked last night because I sat down on the couch and my 70 lb lap dog crawled in for a snuggle and I just couldn't get up and disturb him.

We call that “puppy law” in our house. It means if you have a dog holding any part of your body down, someone else in the family has to do stuff for you!

Yes, in our house it's who has to get up to make the tea. Poor Oban thinks he's particularly loved just after supper and really it's the tea making.
