The spiders thread reminded me of this.
My husband and I were in the car. He was driving. I saw a tiny puppy with a guy in their unfenced front yard. The puppy was jumping around like a maniac. A true frisbee champion in the making but completely out of control.
Just as we were passing them my husband said, "Oh my God!"
"It's OK!" I reassured him. "The puppy is on lead."
He shot back, "I wasn't talking about the dog! A giant spider just landed on me! Where is it?"
Oops.
Aren't you glad you were watching the puppy!
