    LEXIE - "Opening Day"

    Aye Mates,
T'was just near a week ago that LEXIE went home. LEX spent her first day in the duck blind today and her owners reported she was a good lass during said time afield. :-). Good blind manners are so important to the overall making of a superb companion Labrador gundog. The downside of the day was no ducks flying, the action being less than demanding for LEX in regard to retrieval work. None the less, days spent like this are important and critical to the forging of TEAM LEXIE.

COVER GIRL LEXIE strikes a pose in the blind, only thing missing is a game strap with a bag limit o' puddle ducks.

    Cheers,

I think the lessons she learned today may have been more beneficial than making a couple retrieves. She learned a great deal about patience and steadiness!! But fingers crossed she getting a bunch of retrieves next time out!!!!!!
