A very important birdie said stay tuned for dock diving near you! It will be a training facility. Things are finally moving in the right direction. I don't want to jump the gun as this has been in the works for over a year but I am SO excited! I will post more as I know more

I believe Andrea is speaking of an upcoming group on the east coast.

There are three other places to jump, Ft. Myers, Destin and Tampa so hopefully a group down south will really get Fl in the loop of the DD world.

They were doing intro classes on Saturdays and they also rent out dock time by the hour. We will be home over the holidays, and are looking for people willing to share dock time with us. PM me if you're interested in sharing 2-3 hours.

In addition to Lucytude's info I believe Marty is teaching the classes, and he is absolutely WONDERFUL! His dog Rebel is always a top competitor in the vertical and his two upcoming pups are already jumping big. He has a great technique that helps encourage both the people and the dogs. Marty worked with one of our club members and her dog (who typically jumps in the 15-16' range) jumped in the 17-18' range all weekend at our last competition, what a difference! So its really worth it if your nearby and have the opportunity.

Well-I for one am VERY interested. I have been looking for a local facility for months. I don't have a Lab but a Chessie pup that is already jumping into the water like you won't believe. He is ready for training and am hoping this becomes a reality. Please keep me us posted. I would post some pics but my file size seems to be too large.
