Yeah, sometime packaging is such a waste.
One of the funny things to my friends at least is I am a huge proponent of the internet of things. I have a an Amazon echo, couple actually, lights and everything are all controlled by her. However it also allows me to just order a lot of groceries and things just by voice and just when I need them. So like the other day I went to the bathroom, replaced the roll and was on the last pack of toilet paper. So when I walked out of the bathroom, "Alexa, order more toilet paper." and in 2 days toilet paper arrives on my doorstep. I know I have covered this before, but doing this, I get a case of toilet paper. Something I will use and buying like this and in bulk it is way cheaper than even going to Costco and buying in bulk. let alone the grocery. Plus I do not have to waste my time going there standing behind the crazy lady with all the coupons.
I do the same with paper towels, laundry detergent, soap, shampoo etc.
Anyway, the one thing that drives me nuts about this every time I do it. 2 days later a large box arrives. Inside that box, is another large box which doesn't quite fit inside the first box so there is a bunch of added packing material as well to cushion the other box. Inside that other box is all my toilet paper in 4 four packs. Which I then take out the four pack and put away a couple packs in the bathrooms and now I am left with not one, but 2 large boxes and a bunch of packing material to dispose of. Couldn't they just have shipped it in the original box?
