We are in upstate New York and we are BURIED in snow!

We just had two major snowstorms, just a few days apart...I'm ready for Spring.

I missed skating today because OH wanted to get up on the roof to clean the snow off and I thought I should stay home to hear the big THUMP, if there was one. There WAS a big THUMP. A batch of snow he pushed off knocked the ladder over on the deck. He had to climb down the TV tower to get down. I never heard any of this, I might as well have gone skating.

we have lots of snow and cold here. but we love it. good for business around town. the snowmobilers make the economy. all groomed trails and it's big business. i am retired, but tend bar part-time. very busy in the winter. another storm coming tomorrow and thursday, but warming up into the 20's for the weekend. we have our annual feruary horseshoe tournament this saturday so that will be good.....last year we were about -30 with the wind chill.....just a tad nippy

Granted, we live in South Carolina but it was 78 on Saturday. Last summer was soooo hot for so long, I was hoping for more of a respite this year. I surely don't miss the -30 wind chill days in upstate New York, but c'mon. Summer shouldn't start in February.

I get my kicks without all that snow stuff, but you can tell its winter because there's clouds, ( see upper lft corner of photo ) and it's cool enough to be out from under the AC.

Oh yes, we're having winter. A Florida winter! It was 60 this morning, warmed up to 70 by the time I got to work.
