    Learning color pencil drawing

I paint mostly with oil paints so I thought I would give color pencils a try. It's pretty bad but not "to" bad for my first attempt lol.
I miss doing artwork, I haven't done it in years so I had a go at this.
It's not done but this is what I have so far. Hope you like it.

Pretty! I wish I could draw.

I have just enough talent to stay within the lines if someone else has drawn something. (i.e., none at all)

I think that looks great especially for a first drawing. Have you ever tried oil pastels? I use to love drawing with them.

Very nice! My grandmother was an exceptional artist and I inherited none of that. Stick figures are about my limit. I just don't have the patience for drawing. Now quilting, I have all the patience in the world.

Oh now your talking about something I don't have patience for...sewing. I tried and I failed lol.

I have not used oil pastels that will be next on my list. I started out just drawing then got into oil painting (which is my favorite medium to use) and I've done water colors. But a friend of mine showed me his color pencil artwork and it was beautiful! Told my husband ok, this is next on my list to try lol.
Thank you for all your kind words I will get this down sooner or later or so I told my husband lol.
