    " Yankee Morning Honker"

    Aye Mates,
    Posting a preview of a pastel painting I am donating to me retriever club (Yankee Waterfowlers Hunting Retriever Club) for fund raising. The rendering depicts a solitary Canada Goose vintage working decoy floating on the water and is currently a work in progress. T'is on Canson Archival acid free pastel paper and is done with Faber-Castell soft pastels and Stabilo CarbOthello pastel pencils. Image size is 9" X 12". Much more detailing is yet to be added to the sky and water including the reflection of the decoy on the water's surface. I'll post the finished rendering when completed.
