February photo shoot - Family Portrait (sort of)

We missed doing this last Monday, February 20, the Family Day holiday. Though the sun is shining today and it's not that cold - 4C or 40F - there is a brisk wind blowing. Getting everyone to sit-stay facing the camera was a losing proposition so we decided to get what we could.

Woody - hers is a Cowbell Brewing Absent Landlord and mine is a Grand River Brewing Plowman's Ale.

    Andrew, Faye, Fitzi, and Lucy

Not gone, only gone on ahead - Bruno, Rex, BoJo, Kendal, Kingsley, Moonpie, Avis, Corndog, Stella, and now Achilles

You guys are unstoppable! 40 degrees, a "brisk wind" (brrrr!!!!) and still sitting outside to enjoy a cold brew!

What a shame to have such nice temperatures but all that darn green stuff. It's green too, ours never looks very green after the snow leaves. OK, I see some yellow, But we would have brown and sand.

smartrock - February 2015 was a wicked cold month. It was a comparatively balmy -8C or so when we took this.

Snowshoe - my employer bought a $5K snowblower last November. It's been used twice. Some cilantro is coming up in our yard.

Our high was 13C, around 1pm, now it's -3C. Normally I bike to work, but this afternoon if I'd done that I most likely would have got caught in a downpour just before getting there. Then, tonight when biking home I would've been peddling into a strong NW wind with snow flurries. Glad I decided to drive the truck instead of riding my bike.

Oh my goodness. Fun photo. Cute backsides. We had 69 F today and I went to town with spring cleanup. Get it while it's "hot"! Back to 10 F shortly but loving the heat wave if only for a day.
