I got this wee pastel painting "MOON O'ER EIREANN" back from me framer today. Gordie mounted the painting floating in a deeply set mat of contrasting white and a deep night blue that really compliments the composition whilst adding to the depth o' such a small work. Unfortunately the lighting conditions were not optimal as I photographed the piece, unwanted shadow cast. I may be donating this to the Shamrock Traditional Irish Music Society to raise funds for that organization, lending said to their preservation o' Irish traditional music, language, and culture.
