The yellow pine pollen that gets all over everything, cars, sidewalks, the azaleas that need to be trimmed, and blows in the windows if you want your windows open on a nice day. It's not a particular allergen, just gets everywhere.
I love just about everything about spring. Even the mud. I can work with that. Great time to pull out what needs to be pulled.
What I hate is potholes. I'm driving along at 65 mph on the interstate carrying a full load in the truck and see it coming at me but there's nowhere to go and bam! like I just hit a crater. I wonder if the axle is still intact. And when do they fix them? Fall. Great.

Spring was in February down here and now it feels like early summer already with temperatures expected to be in the high eighties this week. I'm going to hate July, August this year the heat will be unbearable.

Hate that spring does not last longer. Love the wide range of spring flower colors, each appearing one behind the other.
When I put the peonies to bed in the winter, the cut off tops are used for winter cover. Their a pain in the butt to get up, half rotten.
Last two days have been gorgeous while I'm struggling with a tummy bug that moved from the tummy to lower down. NOT fun. Finally feeling like my legs are underneath me.
Fortunately, pothole filling has begun here.

If I didn't have dogs the mud wouldn't bother me nearly as much.
I wouldn't mind spring if we actually got it. We seem to go right from winter to summer with NO spring. It was 23C here yesterday and supposed to be again today. My crocuses are out and that's really too hot for them.

All the work to get read for summer. Washing the deck, trimming things back, inspecting the house, doing any repairs, all the trips to home depot 4 of them this weekend.
i hate the black flies we get in spring. but we do get our quiet little town back for a month or so after the snowmobilers leave, and before the atv'ers arrive.
I live in New England and think of the same except on a motorcycle. that has happened quite a bit to here. Yesterday riding through rhode island it looked like the cops have declared war on all the motorcycle riding. every group of more than 2 are being pulled over.
they should pull over people texting and driving.
