    Colorada Trip part 2

We stayed at the Manor RV park in Estes Park, our campsite backed up to the Big Thompson River.

    The view from our campsite

    Sun going down

I shot this at 1/4 second shutter speed to show movement on the water. I wish I would have had a tripod!

This Elk came wandering through the campground the second morning

Saw this guy just inside the park boundary. We saw numerous elk and deer through out the park.

We went on a guided fly fishing trip on the Big Thompson River east of Lake Estes. We had to ford the river and hike almost a mile before we started fishing, then worked several spots as we went back up the river. Between my friend and I we landed 15 trout, 13 rainbow, and 2 brown.

    Another shot at 1/3 second

Overall it was a really fun trip!!!

Looks like a great time. Love the photo of the stream at 1/4 second shutter speed.

Just seeing your pictures brings back memories of the smells of the mountains. Looks like you had a super good fishing trip. I assume you returned the fish to the river or you had a BIG fish dinner!!

Love all your pictures and am hoping for a Part 3.

It's very nice little town, will definitely plan another trip there, but a bit later in the summer. So many roads and trails in the park were still closed. They had 5 feet of snow in the park 2 weeks before we got there!
