Prayers and good thoughts for Gracie please!

My little Cavalier King Charles has Anterior Uveitis.
It can just happen but can also be caused by serious underlying diseases.
Praying that the meds clear it up with no further intervention required.
We are struggling financially and something serious could hurt us and may be out of reach
scared for her and for us.
Has anyone else dealt with this?
I appreciate and positive thoughts, prayers sent our way.

Have not had any dogs with anterior uveitis so I can offer nothing but good wishes for an easy resolution. Tell us more about this little pup, I don't even know if it's a boy or girl but they are awfully cute little things.

eta: Just read Sundance's note- Gracie, (forehead smack) she's a girl.

Smartrock, Yes they are the sweetest dogs you will ever meet! They do not have a mean bone in them. They can not even imagine anything being mean, you have to be their protector! She is all of 18lbs and my baby!
Here she is a few years ago fall

I've had Uveitis in both eyes, once in the right eye and maybe 10 times in the left. As long as it's properly treated it hasn't been a problem. The first time I had it, it was misdiagnosed and that caused all kinds of issues. Hopefully your vet has her on the correct steroids and it will clear up pretty quick. Best wishes for Miss Grace. I've always loved Cavaliers, and maybe one day........

Gracie looks like a little beauty & I'm sending hugs, positive thoughts & prayers along for you, and for her! I too love the look of them, & would love to have one someday......I've heard they can have health issues, so a good breeder would be very important, & I probably could never afford one, but I can dream! Have never heard of Anterior Uveitis--hope your little girl recovers quickly & completely!
