    "yote"

    Aye Mates,
Caught this coyote out mousing in a freshly mown hayfield tonight while on me way to train retrievers. I wish I had me other camera with me as I could have gotten some nice tight shots.

    Cheers,

Even in our suburban area with many people and dogs, coyotes are around and seen regularly. The wildlife trapper I used recently to get rid of a skunk says they are mostly singles but around a few of the golf courses they have formed packs.

I watched him for a few minutes and took several shots, this one being at the best angle.

We hear them from time to time at night. They make the scariest howls.

I wondered what the subject line referred to. I think it was giving you the 'mal ojo' (evil eye).

No, no. They sing. It's music.

Well, we think it's music. We call their vocalizations singing. We call the neighbour's dog barking aggravating.

It will be their death chant if they mess with our pups!
