SO FINALLY!!!!!! Finally we have set up a tie to talk-I'm going to call him at 4 pm today. He was nice enough to accommodate my current schedule and agree to set a time and day. So I get out of work at 4 and have to be dialing as I'm leaving the parking lot to go get my daughter. I'm very lucky he didn't just write me off already LOL

    This. Keep it simple.

So we finally connected. He wasn't the least bit concerned about the timing. He was super nice asked a few key questions and said he was going to give my information to the actual hiring manager and asked about timing in case the manager should want to ask me in for an interview. Super professional. Oh and salary- it's a match provided the manager is interested. So now I wait. If it is meant to be it will be.

    No phone call yesterday
When will it be appropriate for me to email him a thank you and a follow up asking about the hiring manager? Is it appropriate to ask?? I mean..come on. So close...probably thinking I'm out of it too long...

I sent him a follow up thank you email on 7/17. he has not even responded I just cannot even fathom this awesome opportunity slipping away. I cant understand. I was a super processor, great employee and I know I've been out of the industry for a long time-this ad stated only 1 year experience. They probably want recent experience I'm guessing but still-1 year of recent is nothing compared to 8 years experience in the past. I just don't get it. I wish I could just get an interview here....I know no one who works there so I have no "ins".
He was very responsive before, now nothing. He was so professional that I would at worst expect him to reply to say hey listen-if the hiring mgr wants to call you he will...but nothing...now what? I guess I'm out.
