I have a tundra and know that the gas mileage is like 1 mile between the tacoma. I also have a crewmax. It has 5 1/2 foot bed but the extra foot is inside the cabin. We travel with 3 adults , 1 adult sized kid and a kid on a baby chair with Gigi on long trips.

I have a Traverse. Plenty of room for their ramp and 2 labs in the back. Plus the a.c. vents overhead that can be positioned the way the dogs like it ��
