We're at about the 90% line and the sky is clear. We have our eclipse glasses at the ready. Peak time will be about 1 hour, 45 minutes from now. So not a total eclipse but not too bad.
Is any body right in the path to be able to really see it? We are in partial eclipse territory and it is somewhat cloudy do I don't believe it will be much for me.

I'm watching on-line. Not much to see here in Ontario yet, in real life. Not getting dark yet and it's a bit cloudy.

I'm far from the path, but I still enjoyed seeing our peak of 66% through my pinhole projector.

My backyard was in the path of over 99% and it is as clear as can be so I stayed home from work and hung out. I was happy to stay home and view it because I was able to see the differences in the light in a familiar place. The shadow snakes were really cool! Several people on Facebook as well as friends and family agreed. Some of the changes were so subtle that you really needed to be in a place where you are very familiar to see them. I was actually very interested in seeing how it affected the animals.
The temperature dropped, not sure how much but noticeably.
The dogs were pretty chill and then when it started to get light again and we headed back inside they were super annoying like they thought it was meal time, but that moment passed and they are back to normal, just snoozing.
The cat slept through it all. Shocking.
The birds went silent and then when it started to get light, the crows acted like it was morning and got loud.
My chickens and duck got quiet and some just laid down where they were and started to sleep (the duck was especially affected). The two hens that stay up later than everyone else started drifting off to sleep while standing. No one roosted; I just think it happened too fast for them to go through their whole routine. When it started to get light, they snapped out of it, and sort of wandered around a little confused.
It was really cool!

Here in Lawrence, KS, we're in the 92% or so totality area -- 100% is about 60 miles north. The group of retired university peeps in which I'm active had 130 reservations for a hotel top viewing where we also got lunch & beverages There were not only our 130 but probably another 100 as well. Unfortunately, the skies were completely overcast plus we had some light sprinkles of rain. It did seem perhaps a LITTLE darker but NOT at all what I/we expected. Big disappointment.
I was at work when it happened, but one of our managers had some glasses, so I got a couple of peeks. I think we had 98% totality. It was cool.
About 80% totality here. It grew noticeably less bright and the temperature dropped about 3C. Birds were quiet (though it was mid-afternoon) and some crickets began singing.
Here is a shot of the image produced by my camera obscura. It's a little fuzzy because I used my phone with one hand and had to hold the paper with the other to keep it from blowing away.
I'm really looking forward to the April 8, 2024 eclipse. We are only a few klicks from the path of totality's edge.

Very overcast here so no real viewing. Did get quite a bit "darker".
