What is always a concern is being so far away and knowing who the good groups are to donate to. Thanks for the heads up.

That's a cool sounding organization. Most of the kids I work with have an extra set of clothes with them at school, but not all have that luxury. Having a resource like that for the students in the schools sounds like a great idea in general. For a situation like this hurricane, they would already have some sort of distribution set up in place, possibly. Thanks for the info.

The moral test of government is how that government treats those who are in the dawn of life, the children; those who are in the twilight of life, the elderly; and those who are in the shadows of life -- the sick, the needy and the handicapped. -Hubert Horatio Humphrey, US Vice President (1911-1978)

Add as many as you want. I have been making bag lunches with donations and buckets with cleaning supplies. Taking then straight to where they are needed. It is way better to be able to do something then feel stuck and hopeless.
