Payers for South Florida and beyond

No time like the present to start sending payers and some lab board mojo for all who are in the path of hurricane Irma.
Growing up down there I still have family and a lot of friends down there. One of my brother's is a Dade County Sheriff so he has to stay, all my friends are staying too for various reasons too.
There's no getting around the fact that Irma is going to have a impact on South Fla. I just hope the eye of the hurricane stays out in the Atlantic keeping the "dirty side" (west side) of the storm away.

I'm not sure my good thoughts did the folks in Texas any good....but I'm definitely sending them to Florida and the islands. (I can't imagine being on the islands...)

Clips showing wind from Irma on our weather channel look terrifying. Stay safe, all.

Absolutely sending prayers, good thoughts and our world famous lab board MOJO to ALL the folks that have been and will do affected by Irma. Some of the pictures are terrifying. Why anyone would want to stay is beyond me!

Also sending above to the folks in the western states with their wildfires. If only the country could do a flip-flop for a little while to even things out.

Good thoughts for all in the path - Haiti, Cuba, the Bahamas, Florida, Georgia. Good thoughts for those in Irma's wake in the Dominican, PR, islands to the east and southeast. Several of those islands endured the nightmare of a direct hit by having the eye pass directly overhead. Some of those islands are now threatened by Hurricane Jose.

The disasters just do not seem to end. With friends out west and the pictures they are sharing, it's devastating. Seeing the effects of Harvey, cannot imagine being in that situation. Now Florida. My SIL and BIL are now in the path since the tract seems to have shifted a little west; they are in south Georgia. I've not been able to contact them. Hopefully, they have hooked up their camper and are heading north to stay at one of her daughters for the duration. Saw a picture of someone who put their chickens in what looked like draw string bags, heads out, lined up in the back seat of their car. Hopefully, all animals are being as well taken care of. Remember, Florida has a lot of cattle ranches.

We know it's going to hit and hit hard. My prayers are that destruction is lighter than expected and that all in the path are safe, including their animals.

It's just getting worse. Please, please. Just leave. I'm reading about a game being rescheduled to Friday from Saturday and Key residents staying to see what happens and now they're saying that it's heading straight up Florida. It's not like Texas. If it heads right through Florida, there's nowhere to go unless people are carted out by boat. Barbuda is just gone. Just get out now.
