    It's fine that it's free.

My favorite grocery store is holding one of its giveaways right now. Collect stamps and redeem for Rachel Ray bakeware. I'm all over this. It's very nice and a friend has several pieces and can vouch for it. I'm targeting the serving platters for the shelter for Christmas. They come in red.

We were in line this evening and the cashier asked the man in front of us if he was doing the promotion. He turned and looked straight at me. Direct eye contact. I could just tell that he was thinking about Christmas presents. The cashier is young and a good guy but clearly didn't know anything about the products and said that they didn't know if the bakeware was plastic or what. I said that it was actually stoneware and high quality. That guy grabbed the booklet so fast and started looking through it then took his stamps. And good for him.

Because if it's fine that it's free as long as it's good stuff.

That's the kind of stuff I don't encounter at the commissary. Although I must say a vendor was giving out free bags of potato rolls, LOL.

When I do run to a local store, Jewel, for something quick, if they are giving out stamps, whatever, I always find someone, usually the next person in line, to give the stamps to. Heck, I'd just throw them away.

That's really nice. I get a lot of those from people in line, usually at the end of the promotion and have given away partially filled books to others if I know I won't get enough to fill it.
