Found Joey trying to catch this little fellow so got some photos before I moved him to a safer place. He's (she?) a Milk Snake. They are just off the Species at Risk list but still not many around. They are completely harmless to humans, death on bugs. They are prey for larger animals. This fellow is maybe about a foot long. My wedding ring is a size 4 and the high school pinkie ring from the little finger on the same hand is a size 1.5. I have small fingers and I think this little guy is not even as big around as my pinkie.

Cute little guy, thanks for relocating.
The last little snake I saw that size was a small copperhead. I pretty much don't touch snakes, I don't want to pick up the wrong cute little thing.
BTW, your fingers are tiny! I'm not sure your wedding ring would fit on my pinky finger.
Boy, you really do have dainty hands!!!
That's an adorable little snake (and that's something I probably never thought I'd say....although I really do like the little ring snakes I find in our garage from time to time). Thanks for sharing.
I'll stick with the spiders!
Pretty!
Gorgeous little creature. Thanks for sharing.
