I uncovered my riding mower this afternoon and found this on the seat. Haven't seen the garter for a while so it's good to see that he's well and growing. Shook the mower repeatedly to make sure it wasn't living somewhere in it so that I wouldn't crash if it showed up while I was driving.
Glad you saw it first. Like a cat in a car engine, I'd hate to think what might have happened. Of course, glad it was you and that you identified the species. I'd freak.
