Aye Mates,
I was on the way home from an HRC Upland Hunt Test Quad and stopped along a beach in Orient, Long Island, NY to let my retriever TRAD have a few retrieves in the Sound. I met this angler and asked if he would mind if I took a few photo’s of him as he was plugging for Stripers and he agreed. It turns out the gent was a retired NYC Firefighter. We shared a nice conversation and I got several nice shots of him silhouetted against the sunset o’er the waters. I gave him a card and told him if he emailed me I would forward the resulting images to him. This was my personal favorite. I think he will be pleased.

Amazing range of reds/yellows/oranges. We don't have an ocean, but when the sun is setting over the Sierras and the clouds are just right, you see every shade of blue and lavender, deep purple...
