Aye Mates,
Captured this image on a Long Island beach last evening as I gazed into the pebbles underfoot polished by eons of wave oceanic wave action. The colors and textures were calling to me eyes as nature's most simple forms often do.

Love that. My sister has a water colour of river stones that looks much the same, up on her wall.
I have a collection of stones I lugged home from dog walks. They are all red colours. I could only bring a few at a time and unfortunately my plans for a red stone display were thwarted by a dumping of sand and gravel to improve the parking lot I got most of them from.

Nature's beauty
I fear today's generation miss all this beauty with their noses and eyes stuck in phones. Remember telling my mother once that I was bored and she told me to get back outside and play. Laid on the grass and watched an ant hill; it was amazing.
