    Better Days

I've been doing a Rally Class at the Talbot Kennel Club which lies in the middle of farm country on Maryland's Eastern Shore. These two buildings sit across the street from where we train. They sit on railroad tracks, so at one time I'm sure both were important to the economy of Ridgely, Maryland. But that was in a different era.

Being taken over by nature. The sunset gives it a nice coloration.

I grew up in Annapolis and remember the Eastern Shore through a romantic haze. Probably Ridgely was a thriving town when I was a kid.

Not sure how long it's been since you've been to Annapolis, but it's gotten really, really crowded. The old part downtown and by the Naval Academy is still nice. The Eastern Shore is still a beautiful place, but a lot of depressed areas as far as the economy goes.

I especially like the bottom one. It holds the most emotion for me, sad though.
