    Ducks on a pond

I took my camera to training tonight, knowing we'd be heading home around sunset and I was hoping for a couple nice shots. I was kinda disappointed as I couldn't find any thing worth shooting. A couples miles from my house I go zipping past this pond, which sits on a horse farm, with the obligatory big ass house. Despite having traveled past it literally thousands of times, I'd never noticed it lit up like this.

Looks like a nice place to train retrievers! I may have to hit the intercom at the gate!

Gorgeous photos. What are the lights coming off the water?

I could do without the lit fountains but the lake and happy birds are cool.

The fountains are lit from under water. The house/pond have been there for years, but the fountains have only been there a couple years. I've never seen the pond look this good. It's fuller and cleaner than it's ever been, especially at this time of year. From what I've seen of it in the past, I doubt it's much more than 3 feet deep at any spot.

Nice. The ducks were glad it was a camera you were shooting them with.
