My left shoe always goes on first...Always. Even if I pick up my right shoe first, or my left shoe is across the room, I will always put my left one on first.

I like to dip my fries in my chocolate milkshake. There is no other way, to do something else is wrong.

MightyThor, I'm not judging (I thought fried grasshoppers tasted pretty good and I love, love peanut butter & banana sandwiches) but my reaction is kind of like your sig pic of puppy Thor.

    ETA: Might try it.

Hate ketchup. It's really mostly high fructose corn syrup unless you make it yourself. It's sour cream for me. They're potatoes after all.

I take my poultry to the vet if they're having issues. Quick deaths are fine but health issues are not. They provide seriously high end rent and I value that greatly. I think people take quality eggs for granted.

I'm obsessed with growing a giant pumpkin. Life keeps getting in the way but I'm sure I'll be able to do it shortly.

Oh, I haven’t had a peanut butter and banana sandwich in a long time. The banana needs to be at just the right stage of ripeness though.

Think I might do the same thing. I just never thought about it

I tried riding my bike to work but the two miles was slightly uphill and it was a business office so I had to change from my biking clothes when I got there and I was often all hot ans sweaty and I found out some men were watching for me to arrive in my shorts, so I quit. I think the watching was the final straw.

I wear my reflective safety vest all year when walking Oban. Not just for hunters but for others who would benefit from a heads up on seeing me a bit earlier, like bicyclers, ATVers, horseback riders, snowmobilers. I know people think this is odd, some have actually become disagreeable with me about me wearing it. Bow season for deer starts today.

Hey! I do the left shoe first too. Maybe it's a right handed thing?

Actually, fries with yellow mustard is my preferred way to eat them although I will eat them with ketchup and that's about the only time I use ketchup for anything. I use Franks Red Hot Sauce on a number of things, scrambled eggs, avocado toast, asparagus. Thanks for the reminder, I just used up the bottle I had and need to put it on the shopping list.

I haven't had a job close enough to ride my bike since I taught swimming in my home town as a teenager. Besides, it would have been and still would be a major safety issue to ride a bike if I still worked at any of those downtown hospitals from back in the day. What a treat it must be to live close enough and still have enough energy when you get off work to be able to hop on your bike and go home!

Maybe the way I put sheets and blankets on a bed would be considered quirky- which side of the top sheet faces inward, which end of the bottom sheet or blankets go where based on where the tag is sewn. Yes, I put them on the same way every time. Is it odd or just a little rigid? Usually, if someone else would change the dang sheets for once I wouldn't mind how they were on, as long as the were on neatly, but please don't put the quilt on sideways!

I do that too....if the tag is at the head end of the bed, I'll end up feeling it and it'll annoy me. Down at the bottom, it's like it's not even there.

Nancy ~ I can't figure out why anyone would care what you're wearing as long as it's not the reverse....lack of brightness might get you hurt (which still isn't their business but at least they'd be saying something because they cared about your welfare). Comments like that would get a definite "I can't believe you'd say that" look from me.

For some reason, I couldn't get multiple quotes in a reply here.

I also do Lego....sets, not free-style (I'm not creative like that). It's nice to be able to have something that doesn't mess with my back as long as I don't overdo it (I had to say good-bye to needlework and jewelry making after I hurt my back....and I can read only so much). I usually have a set underway for short sessions during the day....there's a dedicated table so it can stay out.

I basically don't wear my wedding rings all winter. A few years ago, I pulled off my engagement ring with my glove when I took it off to pet someone's dog (I pet a lot and the gloves always come off first). If it hadn't hit the sidewalk and made a noise, I wouldn't have known it came off. So now, when the gloves first come out...or when it's cold enough to get "shrinky" fingers but not cold enough for gloves....I put my rings on their little holder and pretty much don't put them back on till Spring. I appreciate not having to avoid them when I apply hand lotion. And I apply hand lotion a lot.

Weird food choices? I'm another banana/peanut butter person. But I also like to dip pretzels in honey. Or mustard. Just sometimes. And, to be perfectly honest, chocolate goes with practically everything...just maybe not always in the same mouthful.

I don't like okra because it's slimy...but I have chia seeds (gelled up in water) twice a day. Even though those tiny seeds get mixed in with something else, they're the epitome of slimy and that doesn't bother me a bit. And, for the record, every now and then I find myself thinking "ch ch ch chia" (some of you are old enough to appreciate that). Oh, man. (at least I don't do it out loud)

And I wipe/blot the dogs after every potty trip. My first Lab's nickname was Skidmark. Yeah. My two pups go on the beds and Dan practically lives on upholstered chairs. He probably couldn't leave a skidmark if his life depended on it but Sunnie would. And neither dog seems inclined to self-clean. So everyone gets taken care of at the door.

There's probably more...I've always thought of myself as at least a bit quirky...

I do not put milk on my cereal. I don't like the taste or texture it creates.
