Aye Mates,
So as recently posted, I have received me new Sony DSC - Cybershot RX10 Mark IV camera and she is a beast of a machine. Definitely a tad heavy as mirrorless cameras go, but the added weight and grip design along with an optical stabilization system (OSS), will help reduce camera shake when extending the lens out to it's upper limits (600mm / 35 mm equivalent). And the Zeiss lens is a truly formidable piece o' glass. Awesome (IQ) image quality, and I really did not do a lot o' setting tuning.
So, I fired her up for a very brief photographic session whist snapping a few shots o' TRAD in between me forays throughout the menu (just getting a feel o' what she has in store for me). I have barely scratched the surface and I am already in love with her. Have not come close to pushing the creative capabilities o' this camera.
So here's a few head studies and one full shot o' me lad TRAD. These thumbnail shots really won't do justice to these initial test shots. So, what say ye???
Cheers,

Looks good! I agree with Fran, number 1 is a framer! Great exposure and depth of field. Excellent shot!

white balance looks off but nice detail/sharpness on a couple. can you see a bluish/green tint? might be your computer monitor or mine...but worth checking.

I see a tint but only on the middle two.
We are so going to enjoy your new toy!

There is a slight bluish tint, it's the curse of shooting black dogs.
Mike, if you shot the pics in RAW format you should be able to change the white balance in Lightroom or photoshop. I've just downloaded both, and have played around a bit, and I know this is setting that can be changed.
