OMG, you live in a disaster zone!
Sending more healing mojo.
I just had to let you all know this. These are all animal and Vet connected. First me, broken ankle while walking Oban.
Then my friend; badly broken arm at the Vet's, put back together with steel plates.
Then a neighbour of mine, former Vet of both me and my friend, same age as us. This last tripped over a trailer tongue at her house (around the corner from me) badly gashed leg and TWO broken arms. TWO. Both her elbows are so badly smashed that they are not being repaired. They are being replaced with steel. Apparently the poor woman is in a cast with both her arms held out in front of her, bent and upraised at the elbows. OMG

I feel so sorry for your neighbor, accidents do happen and can be very bad, like this one. Does she have someone to help her?
Good heavens! That is some break! All of you need personal assistants, but it sounds like your former vet friend "wins" the prize. I hope your own healing process is coming along smoothly!
