    Changes

A few weeks ago my husband walked out on me. Don’t worry, I still have my dogs. Since then I’ve gone thru a few changes. I started wearing makeup again. I cut about 8 (maybe more) inches off of my hair. I lost a little weight and bought some new clothes. And tonight I dyed my hair pink. Yay!

I gasped when I read your first sentence but it sounds like rather than letting it knock you down, it has lifted you up. You go, girl. I’m glad the pups are still with you, too. Sending you strong mojo.

We were together for almost 15 years. I have to rewind to when I was 20 and figure out how to adult alone. I mean other than feeling like this was the worst decision of my life the only thing I can do is pick myself up and move on!

The color looks good. Take care. Stay strong. Pet your dogs often. It relieves stress. You can do this.

All good thoughts headed your way. It's sad when something you have high hopes for doesn't work out, regardless of why or who did what. I'm glad you're the one with your pups...your activities with them should take your mind off self-defeating unpleasant thoughts. (My divorce decades ago knocked me for a loop even though I was the one who initiated it and we'd been married less than two years.)

I was saddened to read your first sentence, surely cannot be something you planned for even if it is right for now. You are making it right for you. PInk hair, yay. ") IS it the wash out soon kind or in for longer? I'm glad you have the pups to help you.

Thanks. Definitely something I never in a million years thought would happen to us. We had been thru so much, good and bad. It is the was out kind. The box said 4-8 shampoos but I don’t wash my hair so....... I do think that since I add oil to my hair it’ll still come out pretty quickly.

I am so sorry to hear this has happened to you. I can't even imagine what it feels like, after 15 years. Stay strong, I know the dogs are great listeners and will help a lot.

Oh, so sorry to hear that you are having to go through this! Brings back bad memories from long ago, & now daughter is going through the same......You stay strong, & do those positive & constructive things to nurture yourself. Stay away from negative & destructive people & things that can be so detrimental to people when they are vulnerable, and you are vulnerable right now. You can do this, & I'm glad you have your dogs! Please keep us posted.....
