Last night there was a show on TV with dogs barking and I looked at Amber-her ears were forward. I quickly turned it off. I want her to experience the best in life from here on out.
Both girls are doing well. I am curious about something. When Dakota was still with us we would go out to walk and she was usually in the lead. China always followed. When Dakota peed China would pee on the same spot. Same is happening now. I take it to mean that China is reinforcing that they are a pack. It really does not seem that she is trying to mark this spot ( she has done that too in other spots...this seems different )Anyone have any thoughts? I just find it interesting.

First time uploading from my phone and I don’t see a way to rotate it or add another. Tonight was bliss as I brought them in from our cold walk we snuggled on the couch one on each side of me. Didn’t even need my electric throw blanket.

same here no picture. But so happy that the girls are settling in and things seemed to have calmed down a bit.

To answer your question about one marking on top of the other pee. Mine have done that too Tootsie would go out and pee then Bailey would pee on top of that then Coleman would come around and pee on top again I think it is just their way of saying this is mine I was here first. Neither Ginger nor Sarah will go after the other to mark I guess they are both happy with where they are at. We always thought Coleman would be higher then Bailey but Bailey took that spot although Coleman would correct Bailey if he got too out of control, so it didn't bother Coleman that Bailey thought he was 2nd in the pee line up.
