I'm so sorry. We fostered a lot of dogs before we kept Fran. It took a while to get a good fit.
I'm so sorry this didn't work out for you. I was following your update with hope. Hopefully the rescue can find Amber a nice quiet home.

Thank you everyone. I’m sick over her being back in there. I visit often and every time he’s got a different blanket and bed and toy. She smelled a bit like pee and I know they’re doing their best but I cry. I cry because no one is promoting her. She should be front and center yet I see them promoting the crap out of dogs that are just arriving. I am set on not liking for a new dog just yet now because to me it isn’t fair while Amber sits in there without a home. I cry when I look into her eyes because this was supposed to be forever. I promised her love and safety and because I made the mistake of taking her thinking all would be fine, we both now suffer ... anyway please say a prayer for sweet Amber that the right person will come and seeep her literally off her feet. Soon.

Amber has been adopted The ultimate situation-an older couple, retired and so Amber will be alone very Infrequently. they recently moved 2.5 hours away and are making the trip back to pick her up Saturday. I've been back to visit with her several times and fall more in love with her each time She is so much fun. Deservedly she gets her own home, a prayer answered. And the day I found out she was adopted I also found out that my in laws were willing to take her!! So i bought some treats and toys to make up a gift bag for Amber and her new family and I also wrote a letter with my # to let them know that should any reason come up that they cant keep her to please call me and I will come pick her up. A true win all around.
