Hope all heals well. I had my left one done in like 2000 and then the right one a couple of years ago. The difference in surgeries was amazing. I don't know if it was doctors or advancement in procedures. The first one had me in bed a week with unbelievable pain. The second never really hurt much at all and I could walk the same day!

This is my air boot, except mine is black. Is yours similar, maybe lower? Are you allowed to weight bear already?

Yes, I can walk on it as long as I have the boot on. Here is the one I got. Fancy air pump for a snug fit.

Glad surgery went well. Good thoughts for a speedy recovery.
Oh and I'm sure you'll figure out a way to "MacGyver" a cover so you can do a little training.

Glad you're home and the worst is behind you. In a few weeks, you and Brooks will be sitting on the sofa, snacking away on something yummy that you whipped up, and training? What's training? Hey, Dad, can you pass me some of those meatballs?

We should be able to use the small park in my neighborhood I figure I can stand on the side walk. Once the dressing is off in two weeks we'll be back in business.
