Cute idea. As you know, Austin's climate varies from unbearably hot to sort of chilly. We are in the oven phase right now. *opens a Lone Star*

Great idea and pics! Keep up the self-portraits for the rest of the year, it will be cool to see the other 6 months.

Great idea to take a picture every month to document the way everything changes with weather and different seasons. Thank you for allowing me the privilege to join you on your trip through time and hope there's a nice July picture coming up soon.

Thanks everyone. It's been a fun project. This is the brisket I smoked on Sunday. My, it was tasty!

I tell people up here that Texas is 'the land of hot and not as hot'.

Once I went to Whole Foods in suburban Detroit just to poke around. (I remember going to the original - and only - one in North Lamar in Austin.) Walked down the beer aisle and to my amazement saw Shiner Bock, which I've never seen outside the Lone Star State.

    I cleaned 'em out.

What a neat idea! I love these! I also love seeing your smiles grow and the two of you move in closer to one another. Look forward the the next set!

What an AWESOME idea!!! Yesterday, we were at a warm 110 F. Today it's warmer, BBQ'd a big ol' fat steak, never turned on the gas. Lucky for us, it's suppose to cool down after the 4th to about the 105 range. Yup, summer's here.
