Pack your bags and ride along. This will take several threads to get it all in.
You're used to arriving by train and this year they have been upgraded, serving coffee, tea and Christmas cookies.
Hire a carriage or walk around in the city with all it's holiday decorations.
On a side note, have been collecting the houses for about 20 years. The firehouse in the background is one of the first obtained, painted it myself.
Stop to listen to the carolers in front of the church and then maybe a nice lunch at the restaurant next door.
Do some browsing in all the shops and maybe buy a goodie or two.
On to part 2.

In love with the village, as it brings back memories of my Dad setting up his own extravaganza! When he passed, the village (80+ houses) and accoutrements went to my niece, as she was the "only one that expressed an interest in it from set-up to take-down". Such fun to visit yours...
I love it!
Just beautiful!
Fran, every year you amaze me with your village!! Hope your family keeps the tradition going forever. Looking at it, brings back childhood memories of movies of times long past. love it !!
Love it
