The upside of my husband getting shingles.

I realized on Friday night that the thing on my back that hurt was shingles and spreading rapidly. My husband concurred, wiped it down with apple cider vinegar which stung like nothing doing. Then we did something we probably shouldn't have. We got his anti viral prescription refilled. For me. But let's face it. It was that or the emergency room. I'm not doing six months of what my husband went through.

Oh, shingles are terrible! Hope you caught it early and have a quick and uneventful recovery.

Oh, NO! Listen... early anti-virals are a BIG help. But for the post-shingles neuralgia, ask your doc for Gabapentin. That and ibuprofen can help a lot if needed. Take care!!!!
