Question Is anyone good with math?

I'm trying to figure out my recipe. I'm making elderberry gummy bears and trying to figure out how much elderberry is in each gummy bear. And math is not my best subject. So you're supposed to take 1 teaspoon of syrup. Each individual gummy bear holds 1 teaspoon. You mix together 1 cup elderberry syrup with 1/2 cup of water, and 1/4 cup of gelatin. Assuming all ingredients are mixed well and each gummy bear is exactly the same how many gummy bears would you need to eat to equal one full teaspoon of just elderberry syrup?

      Any help would be fantastic!

      Thank you!

Mix it all in a 2 cup measuring cup, and see what the volume is once the stuff is dissolved. Or count how many gummy bears you made, and do a ratio. There are 16 T in a cup, and 3 tsp in a T, so a cup of the elderberry syrup was 48 tsp. Not sure if that helps.

I believe you'd need almost 2 gummy bears, as your ratio of elderberry juice to other ingredients is 48:36 teaspoons. Since each gummy is 1 teaspoon, then you have close to half elderberry and half other in each bear. Right?
