      "Red Bellied Woodpecker"

      Aye Mates,

These beautiful birds always put a smile on me face with their dapper plumage and antics whilst foraging for food.

      Cheers,

One visited our suet feeder several weeks ago; haven't seen it since. I must be looking out the window at the wrong times.

The moral test of government is how that government treats those who are in the dawn of life, the children; those who are in the twilight of life, the elderly; and those who are in the shadows of life -- the sick, the needy and the handicapped. -Hubert Horatio Humphrey, US Vice President (1911-1978)

Vividly remember seeing them as a child living in New England. Loved hearing them. Great pictures.

I’ve got a pair of those and a pair of downy woodpeckers that visit my feeders on a daily basis. Truely the sharpest dressed of the bunch
