      "Basking"

      Aye Mates,
After temperatures reached a high of 60 degrees F yesterday the mercury started it's downward spiral today as another major cold front is moving into the Northeast.

I observed this gray squirrel basking in a jungle of wild grapevines whilst absorbing the thermal energy from the low angle sunlight and taking advantage of what will be the last of mild January temperatures for several days to come.

Good Eye, Mike!! It's mating season for the squirrels and they are chasing each other like crazy.
