    Fox and Owl

Saw this video that happened near a Marina in Cobourg. A camera caught an interaction between a fox and an owl. There must has been food around somewhere as they are both pretty interested in the area.

    Thanks Everyone!!

Could be the owl thought the fox looked like a tasty meal...although it seems a bit large (some owls will attack/eat smaller foxes).

Not quite The Owl and The Pussycat, huh?

    Thanks for posting!

I was thinking the fox hoped the owl was injured and would make a tasty meal for himself! That is a cool video.

I remember when I was much younger and worked second shift. I used to actually see a lot of things like this. There weren't camera everywhere and I lived in a rural area. You seen a lot of need things. So much happens at night most people are really unaware of. I was always energized by the night and the experiences. Thanks for posting.

Wow, that owl had a lot of nerve to stand it's ground like that! The fox was definitely circling, hoping for an opening......

I'd be really curious to know what the owl just stayed there. The fox seemed too big to be prey for the owl and a potential threat yet he just stayed.

While I'm no behaviourist I thought the fox wanted to play.

I work at a plant located in the country which is idle for the winter. There are only three of us on staff now. We came in last Monday morning after a fresh snowfall and there were several different sets of tracks. We decided they were cat, fox, and coyote tracks.
