The problem with working from home.

We work out of the house. My husband travels a couple of times a month but it's all internet, computer and conference calls. Sometimes we get what we call computer brain. Today was definitely one of those days. I saw this outside of the window, thought that it was pretty, decided to get pizza for us for lunch, took one step out the door and almost landed right on my butt.

We had had a full on ice storm and neither of us noticed. Couldn't even get to the truck.

Ha! I 100% understand. Last year we couldn't even get out of our driveway for a week and I barely noticed. As long as I have internet service, a phone, and Skype I'm all good. Oh, and my favorite furry office mate.

Oh gee, hope you are ok. My sister did that when hurrying to work one day, no computer involved at all. She went down, was lucky to not hit her head on the concrete steps and was lucky her husband was home to hear her yell for help because she hurt her back.

I did know it was icy but still failed to think to back my car up to a patch of bare gravel so Oban could get in the back of Bruiser more safely. He was afraid of slipping when he tried a boost so he tried a jump instead and got part way in and then slithered back out. Normally he's ok if I lift him but now he was antsy and I couldn't. AND me still recovering from a broken ankle and with a stirrup brace on. FINALLY I wised up and backed up to that gravel.

I have had a few state federal investigator friends that work on internet/child porn and sex trafficking...they get board out of their minds but I also feel that what they see and are investigating is way too serious. some of my online friends just do internet stuff and I have no sympathy compared to the investigative ones.

I do twice a week and my other does four a week. A little dreary in the winter but I love it in the summer. Instead of listening to people whine on break time etc I can cut the grass or garden, go for a walk or do anything else. It's a better feeling all around.
    Thanks Everyone!!
