This makes my heart sing. I have an orange tabby, and although I don't consider him all that vocal, he is friends with everyone he meets. It is the quality of an orange cat for sure. My vocal cat was Culley, who recently learned how to use the dog door and ended up coyote fodder (much to my heartache). He, a black tabby, was the most vocal--and he was formerly feral as I had to trap him and do TNR (with the tipped ear) when he was still young (and then he decided to move in). Gosh I miss that cat! He was the one who was ALWAYS available for petting (all my other cats duck and run when I want a cat to pet).

Poop on the deck? Does she know cats bury their poop? An eejit neighbour ours said our Ginger (orange too, of course) was pooping on a section of their roof they used as sort of a balcony. The OH went over, raccoon poop.

Do you have a name in mind?

@Bogey Baby, poor Culley, I'm sorry.

You have me smiling...so glad you decided this would work for you. Ram will be so excited to see his buddy and realize that he's there to stay.

YAY!!! What are you going to name him? Congrats on a really neat new addition. I love it when animals chose their humans. Our Shih Tzu was a foster that from the first moment he ran through the front door into the house, basically acted as though "THIS? Is my new house!"

Uh, yeah! I liked SunDance's offering of R.C. He needs a cool name. And did they say how old they thought he was?

Oh happy dance!!!! You could go with R.C. , Rupert, Marmalade (our neighbors have a big ole loveable orange cat with this name) you can also look up names for orange cats online. I am also glad that your senior girl is doing well too.

Bogey Baby so sorry for your loss of Culley
