    New Family Member

    Got this little guy after 4 long weeks of cycling a new tank. Have learned so much about betta keeping. He's a happy, feisty boy, exploring everything. He's a total food hog; fits right in with labs.



    I'm hooked. Have started a second tank cycling.

    After the initial setup and cycling, betta keeping is relatively easy.

    His navy color is darkening, the yellow on his fins is also darkening. I'm hoping he will really color up since he's just a subadult now. He should color like this:
